Miss Mims is an American singer, songwriter and recording artist whose distinctive vocals and topline writing helped shape one of electronic dance music's defining classics, "Beachball" by Nalin & Kane featuring Shondell Mims
Miss Mims grew up knee deep in the LA Funk scene. Singing and dancing was the name of the game. Between movie extras, waiting tables, and even selling knives, she honed her craft, experimenting with different styles.
But Miss Mims wasn't content with a singular sound. She loved writing Gospel & Folk songs , soon she began to record with some of LA finest underground house producers. She had dreams of making it big in London but landed in a small village named Dusseldorf, there she meet producer team Nalin & Kane. Together they had huge success with :

Shondell has been thriving ever since, Collaborating with diverse producers and songwriters, she crafted a unique blend of jazz and poetry, electric and acoustic, rock and classic influences.

I grew up in a single parent house hold with 6 siblings singing and dancing was the name of the game.
Like so many other aspiring artists in the town of pay to play , I did my share of movie extra work, waiting tables, & selling Cutco Knives, while picking up studio jobs and experimenting with different styles of music.
